One day on December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks got on a bus. After some time a white man got on the bus and wanted Rosa Parks seat. Rosa Parks declined giving the white man her seat because she wanted to fight for what she believed. Even after the white man getting mad, Rosa Parks still declined to give the white man her seat.
Rosa Parks
Soon after Rosa Parks declined the bus driver called the police and the police arrested Rosa Parks for disobeying the law. Rosa Parks was by standing up to an Alabama law requiring black bus riders to give seats up to white passengers. There was also a second time she got arrested for the same reason. The second time she got arrested was on Feb. 22, 1956.
When Rosa Parks did these actions it attracted attention to many other people to want to stop racism. This helped people like MLK. It helped MLK because it increases the amount of people wanting to stop racism which was MLK's dream. Also the more people there are the more the white house will notice them and the white house would have to be forced to change the laws of racism.
So, Rosa Parks played a big part in stopping racism. Rosa Parks went down in the history books due to her actions. Today, Rosa Park’s meaning is to teach us all to never give up hope and to never give up. Rosa died to natural causes and lived from February 4, 1913 to October 24, 2005. Rest in piece, Rosa Parks.
